What is Cafe con Arte: Community Art Space?
Our space will be a new home to the downtown Pasco community. As all coffee shops open their door to all people, this one won't be different. However, its aim is to serve the downtown and east Pasco community. It is an effort to build a Latinx owned and run space with our community in a moment when the city is shifting and changing. It is also aiming to provide a space for the downtown and surrounding workforce.
We want to inspire the communities we are a part of, especially young people, to share through art: stories, histories and struggles that sustain Washington's cultural legacy of resilience, especially for people of color. There are countless unique stories to be told and Cafe con Arte will expose the connective tissues that make those stories relatable and important.
Cafe con Arte will be showing a broad range of experiences that make up the multicultural tapestry that is the Tri Cities. We want all to have a voice and to engage in meaningful dialogue. We are a family business, so we will curate shows that are appropriate for our audiences while challenging perceptions and notions of what art looks like in the 21st century.
OUR PLACE, IS... YOUR PLACE
When you are here, You are family!
CAFE con ARTE will be the only sit-in coffee house in downtown Pasco, WA. The space is a focal point in the Tri Cities, and also the epicenter for LatinX, Black, and Asian communities.
We can't wait to welcome everyone that needs a lunch break downtown: Lourdes Medical employees, City Hall, first responders, Pasco Court House, and everyone else that is willing to make the drive.
Our Space is unique because it blends coffee, a universal language, with art, another universal language. When you walk into CAFE con ARTE, expect an experience like no other. Don't believe us, stop by!

Pasco's Only Gallery
Our Gallery serves you art with a side of coffee
When you walk through our doors you will experience art like never before. Our baristas are trained to guide you through a simple art process, one that opens doors to conversation with the artwork. The experience will change you!
We will be having Pasco's very first art exhibit opening nights on the first Fridays of most months in 2024. These are aptly called "First Fridays"
Literary archive
Looking back to look forward
A major sentiment in underserved communities is the feeling of not being able to see where they came from due to the lack of representation in history books. Our coffee shop aims to find those resources in artwork, AND in books and music It's in the arts that we have managed to record our passage through time.
CAFE con ARTE is slowly building a literary archive of books for patrons to appreciate while they visit our coffee shop.
We are building up our libraries, and have many more BIPOC literary works to collect. If you'd like to contribute, please feel free to visit our wishlist by clicking below:
